Lulled from his earliest childhood by the richness of traditional and contemporary African music, Lidiop was born into the cultural and folkloric atmosphere of his native Senegal. Lidiop, his stage name, is a multi-faceted musician, songwriter and performer, mixing reggae, dancehall, rnb, afro and pop. In concert, his music brings the audience together, sharing smiles, dance steps and joy in unison under the bewitching cadence of his guitar and accompanied by his musicians with whom he shares his slogan “Humility and Simplicity are the way of life”.
