Buoyed by the success of their Youtube videos, Scott Bradlee and Postmodern Jukebox go back in time, covering contemporary hits in vintage style (jazz, soul, doo wop, swing, charlestone and more). From Miley Cyrus to Beyoncé, Maroon 5 to Radiohead, and most recently the Spice Girls and Paul Simon!
Ten years and two billion views later, Postmodern Jukebox concerts have become an annual musical tradition for hundreds of thousands of dedicated fans around the world.
With them, it's swinging, it's jazzy and whole swathes of music are brought up to date. Who's ever heard of doo-wap, ragtime or motown? If we've forgotten these names, they haven't, and they let us know in song, with infectious energy and good humor.
