The Grimaldi Forum Monaco plays entertaining card of digital mediation for its 2015 summer exhibition "From Chagall to Malevich, the revolution of the avant-garde"
From July 12 to September 6, the Grimaldi Forum will offer visitors to become, just for a moment, a curator appropriating the works of the Russian avant-garde with a digital animation. Via a touch table set in the heart of an immersive and interactive space, visitors will indeed make their own discoveries scenic hanging works throughout the exhibition. Seamlessly, your preferred works slip of the touch table on the huge curved wall of the room where they will be projected. Upon completion hooking, visitors will then be automatically photographed in the center of their wall works and share their artistic selfies on the Facebook page dedicated to the animation:
Developed with Mosquito, a Parisian company specializing in digital mediation to places of culture, this device is placed in the continuity of cultural mediation policy begun there some years ago by the Grimaldi Forum Monaco, to offer an experience of amazing tour ever. The public, for example, was invited last year to attend the Artlovers TV, where he could build his column in 3 minutes flat TV before sharing it on Facebook. An animation that was a great success with nearly 10,000 recorded videos as part of the exhibition "Artlovers, History of Art in the Collection Pinault." The enthusiasm of the young audience for this type of animation was also largely confirmed since a 4% increase in attendance at least 18 years was recorded in 2014.
